Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) degree, active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license, and 1+ years Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant experience required. The role involves traveling across the county with your assigned sites established before the academic year begins, creating an engaging and dynamic caseload.Key Qualifications:Hold an active Florida COTA licensePrevious experience in a school-based setting is preferredAbility to work independently, adapt to varying school environments, and travel between assigned schools within the countyStrong organizational and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with teachers, staff, and familiesPrimary Responsibilities:Deliver occupational therapy interventions to students from kindergarten through 12th grade, supporting their educational and developmental needsCollaborate closely with OTRs and educators to adapt and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)Document student progress and maintain accurate, timely records in compliance with school and regulatory guidelinesConduct assessments, participate in team meetings, and contribute to multidisciplinary solutions for student challengesServe as an advocate for student access and inclusionThis is a contract position ideal for travel professionals who thrive in a school-based environment.
