You will also operate and/or lock out equipment to clean molding floor and reclaim or dispose of sand in basement levels.Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:Core box mountingMixing and testing core sandBolt threadingMolding functions such as preparing pouring basinsMold spraying, drying and/or ventingOperating punch-out and related equipmentPerforms melting functions such as sample taking, slag skimmingFinishing functions such as riser breaking (floor)Hand chipping, finning, and wire pullingOperates shakeouts, stand and portable grindersRamblast and de-finning machinesBasic Qualifications:Two years of prior work experiencePhysical Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodations):Ability to frequently lift and carry boxes weighing up to 35 poundsAbility to stand throughout a 10-hour shiftAbility to operate heavy machinery and manufacturing equipmentTop candidates will also have:6 months of foundry experience in molding or backend (finishing) operationsPrevious machine shop, foundry, or manufacturing experienceComputer skillsVerbal and written communication skillsProblem solving and decision-makingMath skillsEducation Required:High school diploma or equivalentEOEThank you for your interest in Impact Workforce Solutions, we are proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer and participate in the E-Verify eligibility confirmation program.Powered by JazzHR
