Data Technical Project Manager
Job Title: Data Technical Project Manager (TPM)Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid – 3 Days/Week)Duration: Long TermJob Summary:We are seeking an experienced Data Technical Project Manager (TPM) to lead large-scale data migration and modernization programs involving Snowflake, SAS Campaign, and downstream analytics platforms. The ideal candidate will manage end-to-end delivery of complex data migrations, including historical and incremental data loads, platform cutovers, parallel runs, and post-migration validation in a highly regulated (banking/financial services) environment. This role requires a strong combination of project leadership and technical expertise across data platforms, ETL processes, and cloud migration initiativesKey ResponsibilitiesProgram Delivery & ExecutionLead end-to-end data migration programs across Snowflake data platform, SAS Campaign jobs and analytics workloads, legacy data sources and downstream systems.Manage all phases of migration – discovery & inventory, build & execution, parallel runs & cutover.Data Migration & Technical OversightOversee migration of historical and incremental datasets into Snowflake.Ensure alignment across data models and schemas, batch and campaign cycle scheduling/orchestration.Coordinate data reconciliation, validation, and business sign-off.Stakeholder & Governance ManagementAct as the primary interface between SAS campaign operations teams, business and analytics stakeholders, security & compliance teams.Drive governance forums, status reporting, and executive communication.Maintain RAID logs, escalation paths, and mitigation plans.Risk & Quality ManagementProactively identify and manage risks such as data quality and reconciliation issues, SAS job dependency failures.Define and track key metrics: migration completeness & accuracy, data validation success rates, campaign execution stability post-migration.Compliance & StandardsEnsure adherence to data security and access controls, auditability and traceability, regulatory and compliance requirements.Required Skills10+ years of experience in Technology Project / Program Management.Proven experience in data migration or data platform modernization programs.Strong knowledge of Snowflake Data Platform, SAS Campaign / SAS-based analytics workloads, ETL and data ingestion frameworks.Experience managing parallel runs, cutovers, and data validation.Strong background in banking / financial services (regulated environments).Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.Nice to HaveExperience migrating SAS workloads to cloud platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, PySpark).Exposure to marketing analytics / campaign platforms.Experience with AWS / Azure cloud ecosystems.Experience managing multi-vendor delivery teams.Core CompetenciesProject Planning & Delivery Management.Stakeholder & Resource Management.Quality Assurance & Governance.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.J-18808-Ljbffr
