Program Manager - Product Development

Overview:We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead the strategic planning and delivery of product development initiatives. This role involves working closely with both offshore and onshore teams, the product owner, and customer project/program managers to ensure successful release preparations and delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent communication skills, and experience with Jira.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Planning and Delivery:Develop and maintain project roadmaps in alignment with business goalsCoordinate with the core R&D team and the services/configuration team to ensure efficient resource allocation and timely deliveryCross-Functional Collaboration:Work alongside the product owner and customer project/program managers to gather and refine requirementsFacilitate communication between offshore and onshore teams to ensure cohesive project executionProject Management:Utilize Jira for project planning, tracking, and managementCreate detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverablesManage risks and resolve issues to ensure successful project outcomesRelease Planning and Management:Understand and plan release preparations, coordinating with teams to handle configurations and changesEnsure all necessary preparations are in place for smooth product launchesPerformance Monitoring and Improvement:Monitor project progress and quality, using tools and metrics to ensure milestones are metCollect and analyze feedback from team members and stakeholders to identify areas for improvementImplement best practices and process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectivenessLeadership and Team Management:Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environmentProvide guidance and support to team members, helping them develop their skills and achieve their career goalsQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related fieldProven experience as a Program Manager or in a similar role, preferably in product developmentStrong understanding of project management methodologies and tools, especially JiraExcellent communication and leadership skillsAbility to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including offshore and onshore teamsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailPreferred Qualifications:Experience in the technology or software development industryFamiliarity with Agile and Scrum methodologiesPMP, PMI-ACP, or similar project management certificationCentric Software provides equal employment opportunities to all qualified applicants without regard to race, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, color, age, religion, protected veteran or disability status or genetic information.Powered by JazzHRPuvxLJObkj
