A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity: Registered Nurse - CVOR Job Details: • Work 12-hour shifts with guaranteed 36 hours for 3x12 schedule or 40 hours for 8/10 schedule • Must have scrub experience and 2 years of direct CVOR experience required • Cardiac call required - approximately 6 minimum per month (1 per weekday and 2 weekend shifts - weekends are 24 hour shifts) • May be up to 10 call shifts if short staffed • Must be able to float within scope to meet facility needs • Will perform other cases if no CVOR cases available • Required certifications: AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS (must have at time of submittal), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start) • Must complete time-sensitive modules that need to be prioritized once confirmed for assignment • EKG and Pharm test required during orientation with 2 attempts maximum for each • Scrub color: Ceil Blue • Epic charting system experience preferred • Must be nicotine-free - negative 10 panel nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required • Must be willing to participate in training students and new staff in this teaching facility • All RTO must be included at time of submission Facility: This healthcare organization operates a 230-bed short-term acute care teaching facility with a comprehensive cardiovascular and surgical program.
