The majority of the work will focus on maintaining and enhancing current applications, troubleshooting production issues, implementing bug fixes, and supporting ongoing application enhancements. The developer will be responsible for building and maintaining SOAP and REST-based services, collaborating closely with other engineers on application support initiatives, and ensuring code quality through unit testing and documentation. While most efforts will be maintenance and support focused, there will be opportunities to contribute to new feature development and modernization initiatives. The consultant will also leverage AI-enabled development tools, such as GitHub Copilot, to improve productivity and delivery efficiency.
