Speech Language Pathologist - PART TIME

The qualified candidate must possess a Master's degree and required license and certification to work as an SLP in the state of Missouri. CFYs are welcome to apply. This position is for the purpose of identifying students with communication disorders, planning and implementing appropriate treatment to minimize adverse impact on student success.The SLP will:Provide support to the instructional process with students focusing on achievement by developing appropriate communication skills.Supervise students within the classroom and other assigned areasDevelop lesson/therapy plansDeliver group and individual instruction/therapy within established guidelinesCollaborate with other teachers, other professional staff, and administrators in addressing instructional and/or classroom issuesRespond to a wide range of inquiries from students' parents or guardians regarding communication, assessment information and student progress.Students in special education receive services in a variety of ways, including in the special education setting and/or in the general education setting. In addition, some students may have physical needs, have brain impairments, have severe behavioral issues; severe health concerns, or generally be unable to function in a regular classroom setting.
