Overview: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of tasks and projects, including repairs, maintenance, and construction, to ensure our facilities are well-maintained and running smoothly. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general maintenance and repair, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality work. Responsibilities: - Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, carpentry, and electrical work. - Conduct repairs and replacements of equipment, machinery, and fixtures. - Assist with construction projects, including installing fixtures, building structures, and assembling furniture. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues with facilities and equipment. - Clean and maintain workspaces, tools, and equipment. - Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment. - Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure timely and effective completion of projects. - Keep accurate records of work completed, including materials used, time spent, and any issues encountered. Skills: - Strong understanding of general maintenance and repair techniques. - Proficiency in carpentry, electrical work, and plumbing. - Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals. - Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols. - Excellent problem-solving skills. - Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects. - Good communication skills and ability to work well with others. - Basic knowledge of construction and building codes.
