RN - Waterloo Infusion Clinic

NuCara Infusion Services is a growing business seeking a part-time/PRN Registered Nurse for the Ambulatory Infusion Center and home-infusion division located in Waterloo, Iowa. Ideal for the RN who enjoys spending more time with patients and giving one-on-one personalized care.Specific Duties Include (but Are Not Limited To)Starting peripheral lines Managing PICC/Port access devicesChecking vitalsPatient charting Supervising Infusions Providing patient education on intravenous access devices Assess patient appropriateness for home-infusion therapyOccasional administration of home infusion therapies taking place in patients' homesOccasional travel to patients' homes (mileage reimbursement)Providing infusion-related education to nurses in the long-term care and home-health settingsPromotion of infusion services alongside the Business Development Team Ideal candidates will be outgoing, personable, caring, looking to grow within their career and exemplify strong leadership skills.Requirements for this position include experience with administering infusion therapies, experience with case management and two years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an infusion or office setting.
