A growing and well-established manufacturing organization in the Greensboro, NC area is seeking aMechanical Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. This is a hands-on role focused on improving equipment performance,driving efficiency, and supporting new product and automation initiatives. This opportunity is ideal for someone whoenjoys being on the floor, solving real-world problems, and making a measurable impact on production and cost.What You'll Be DoingDesign, develop, and improve mechanical systems, components, and equipmentSupport automation and continuous improvement initiatives across productionTroubleshoot mechanical failures and implement long-term solutionsCollaborate with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, maintenance, quality, and engineering)Assist with new product introduction (NPI) from concept through productionOptimize plant layouts, workflows, and equipment utilizationWork with vendors and integrators on equipment upgrades and installationsCreate and maintain technical documentation, drawings, and SOPsWhat We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or related field3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environmentStrong troubleshooting skills in mechanical systems and equipmentExperience with CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar)Knowledge of lean manufacturing, CI, or process improvement methodologiesExposure to automation, robotics, or production equipment is a plusAbility to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentPreferred if you also have these skills but not a requirementExperience with PLC-controlled equipment or automated systemsBackground in plant layout, tooling, or equipment designFamiliarity with Six Sigma or Lean principlesPlease submit a resume for consideration.
