Senior Java Full Stack Developer

Job Summary:The Senior Java Full Stack Developer will design, develop, integrate, test, and support scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications. The role requires strong hands-on expertise across Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, modern front-end technologies, databases, messaging, cloud technologies, and CI/CD. The developer will work across the full software development lifecycle and collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance Java/J2EE applications.Develop backend services and enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and microservices.Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate applications with internal and external systems.Develop responsive and user-friendly front-end applications using React.js, Angular, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.Build and maintain end-to-end full-stack solutions across frontend and backend layers.Work with relational and NoSQL databases, including optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and data-access components.Implement application security, authentication, authorization, and secure API integrations.Develop event-driven and distributed applications using Kafka or similar messaging technologies.Participate in application architecture, technical design, code reviews, and development standards.Write unit, integration, and automated tests to ensure application quality and reliability.Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement effective resolutions.Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, QA Engineers, DevOps teams, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, estimation, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.Work with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools to automate application build, testing, and deployment processes.Monitor application performance and identify opportunities for optimization and scalability.Follow enterprise coding standards, security guidelines, SDLC processes, and software development best practices.Required Qualifications8+ years of experience in software development with strong Java/J2EE expertise.Strong hands-on experience with Java 8/11/17 or higher.Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Spring Data.Strong experience developing REST APIs and microservices.Hands-on experience with React.js and/or Angular.Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.Experience with Kafka or other messaging/event-streaming technologies.Strong SQL and database development experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or similar databases.Experience with JUnit, Mockito, and automated testing frameworks.Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, GitHub/GitLab, or similar DevOps tools.Understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure.Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, data structures, and application architecture.Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience in banking, financial services, or other highly regulated enterprise environments.Experience working with large-scale, high-volume transactional applications.Knowledge of cloud-native application development and modernization.Experience with AWS services, Kubernetes/OpenShift, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.Familiarity with application monitoring and observability tools.Knowledge of secure coding practices and enterprise application security.Experience working with distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
