Apply now to embark on an exciting career with us.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a CAM Support Engineer to join our Aeroline digital services division. In this role, you will act as a key contributor to CAM activities, supporting programming, implementation, and digital machining solutions within aerospace environments.You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and clients to ensure the successful delivery of projects—on time, within scope, and in compliance with the highest quality and industry standards.Key ResponsibilitiesNC Programming & SimulationPerform CAM programming for machining operations (metallic and/or composite parts)Conduct machining simulations and ensure alignment with project requirements, timelines, and quality standardsComposites ProgrammingSupport programming activities for composite manufacturing processes, including:Automated Fiber Placement (AFP)Automated Tape Laying (ATL)Digital Solution SupportProvide shop floor and remote support for Sopra Steria’s in-house digital machining solutionsAssist users in the adoption and effective use of digital toolsTroubleshoot issues and contribute to continuous improvement of digital solutionsReporting & DocumentationPrepare status reports and maintain project documentationEnsure clear visibility on progress, milestones, risks, and outcomesQualificationsExperienceExperience in CAM programming and machining simulation in an industrial environmentExposure to the aerospace industry or work with aerospace clients is an assetEducationBachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related fieldTechnical SkillsProficiency in CAM software and NC programmingComfortable working with IT tools and supporting end usersBasic experience in troubleshooting and root cause analysisAbility to engage in technical discussions with users and stakeholdersKnowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes, particularly composites, is a strong advantageUnderstanding of digital technologies and their application in aerospaceFamiliarity with aerospace standards, regulations, and best practices is an assetSoft SkillsStrong communication and collaboration skillsClient-oriented mindset with the ability to work in multidisciplinary teamsAdaptability in dynamic shop floor environmentsLanguagesEnglish (required)French (asset)Additional InformationAt Sopra Steria, we believe in rewarding your talent and supporting your growth.
