IT Administrative Assistant
Parrish Consulting Services is seeking a candidate for the position of IT Operations Administrative Assistant. This position will require solid interpersonal communications skills, specializing in the abilities to empathize with customer issues and de-escalate troublesome situations. The position also requires strong organizational skills and demonstrated project management capabilities.
An understanding of information technology and its processes is a plus.
The ideal candidate will be able to function as a Customer Advocate to ensure:
Customer support requests are being managed properly and in a timely fashion.
Conduct Face-to-Face meetings with contract customers on a minimum semiannual frequency.
Conduct scheduled virtual meetings as needed with contract customers and other high-visibility non-contract customers via Teams or other virtualization platforms.
Additionally, the ideal candidate will be able to use project management skills to effectively manage preventative maintenance (PM) for all contract customers, as follows:
Schedule PM and assist in managing non-technical and/or light-technical requirements before, during, and following completion of preventative maintenance.
Manage resource requirements for necessary materials and equipment to conduct preventative maintenance. Ensure tasks are fully and properly identified, assigned, and completed.
Identify and obtain support documents from customers (i.e., ISP contract, subscribed telephone services, alarm systems, etc.).
The Operations Administrative Assistant will be responsible for ensuring that on-hand equipment and material inventory is maintained and accounted for. The Operations Administrative Assistant will be responsible for performing other administrative and support duties as necessary.

The incumbent should have at least 1 year of previous Adminstrative experience along with demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office applications.
Must have ability to sit for extended periods of time, performing work on the computer.
Must be able to effectively concentrate in an office environment and handle multiple tasks when priorities shift.
Must be able to type 50+ wpm and have excellent written and verbal communication skills (demonstrates professional writing style for email correspondence).
