Date RangeFeb 16, 2026 Feb 15, 2027Pay TypeHourlyStandard Hours Per Week40.00TECHNICAL SKILLSMust HaveWire and Sinker EDM programming, setup, operation, and troubleshootingNice To HaveLOCATION INFORMATIONGreenville SC US 300 Garlington RoadGreenville South Carolina 29615-4614JOB DESCRIPTIONWhat you'll doDesigning and developing programs for CNC Wire & Sinker EDM machinesSetting up, checking programs, and operating CNC machine tool equipment to perform complex machining operations.Understanding program format and working from detailed part drawings and specifications.Recognizing, reporting, and correcting errors in programming.Suggesting tooling applications and operational sequences for new and unusual machining requirements.Performing quality assurance checks on components and providing tool maintenance support.Suggesting and implementing best practice methods and equipment improvements.Maintaining proper file management for all programs and ensuring machines are running at optimum performanceWork on the following equipment: Fanuc RoboCut C800IA 31i-W Model B, Agie Charmilles Form E 600, ONA IRIS 6, Mitsubishi EA12PS, FP120PS, SV12P, Belmont SY-CNC4050TGR-5XGenerate and maintain CNC programs utilizing NX-CAM or other software. This could include multi-axis milling, turning, grinding and/or EDM.Verify new CNC programs prior to release on the shop floor utilizing Vericut.Provide CNC related support to M.E. (Manufacturing Engineer) and provide operator training during new / rebuilt machine startup and / or process improvements.Support and implement tooling & fixturing requirements associated with CNC machine tools.Generate and support workstation instructions (methods) for CNC related issues.Initiate and lead process improvement projects to improve safety, quality, cost and delivery.Provide effective communication to appropriate team members when needed.Work effectively as an individual and in a team-based environment in a matrixed organization.Work effectively in a fast-paced environment while embracing and driving positive change inside and outside the organization when appropriate.What will make you stand outExperience creating 5-axis CNC programs using a CAM (preferably NX) system.Minimum of 1 year of experience with high-level machine tool controls including sub-routine(macro), Renishaw probing routine, and variable based programming, as well as CLM (closed loop machining)Bachelor degree in Engineering or Machine Tool Technology.Strong problem solving and organization skills, with above average shop math skills in geometry and trigonometry.Knowledge of post-processor development and debugging, preferably NX Post Configurator.Experience using Vericut (preferred) or other CNC verification/machine simulation software.Strong familiarity with multiple machine controls including Fanuc, Haas, Okuma, Siemens, and G&LAbility to multi-task and productively manage multiple projects concurrently.Experience machining high temperature superalloys found in HDGT or Aerospace components.No Attachments are added yet
