Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 04/13/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (OB/L&D) – Oklahoma Start Date: April 13, 2026 (candidates who can begin by February 9, 2026 or February 16, 2026 strongly preferred) Location: Tahlequah, Oklahoma Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Variable shifts supporting Labor & Delivery, Mother Baby, Newborn Nursery, and Couplet Care; approximately 15–17 births per month; facility may cancel one shift every other week Highlights: Comprehensive OB experience including Labor & Delivery, Mother Baby, Newborn Nursery, and Couplet Care Gynecology surgery patients also supported on unit Collaborative RN/LPN team structure with strong house supervisor and transfer coordinator support Low to moderate volume birthing center with creative, resource-rich environment Possibility of floating to Medical/Surgical unit to assist with vital signs and medication administration when census is low Required certifications: BLS, NRP, and Fetal Heart Monitoring Requirements: Active RN license in Oklahoma or compact state eligibility Current BLS, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), and Fetal Heart Monitoring certifications required Experience in Labor & Delivery, Mother Baby, and Newborn Nursery preferred Ability to perform all responsibilities within RN scope including triage, initial assessments, and labor support Flexibility to float and assist other units as needed when OB census is low Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers a well-rounded OB nursing experience in a supportive, team-oriented environment where creativity and collaboration are valued.
