Coverage Needed ASAP-Ongoing 2 Providers Requested Schedule 7 days on / 7 days off schedule shift 1 Shift is 6am-4pm 1 Shift is 12pm-10pm Clinical Details Trauma Level 3 Inpatient Patients per shift: 20- Beds in Department General Surgery procedures including colorectal and small bowel limited to ED and inpatient - no elective surgeries; approximate mix historically - Gallbladder 45%, Appendix 23%, Incision and Drainage 13%, Exploratory Lap 8%, Hernia 5%, other 11% (no upper/lower scopes - GI service takes covers) May include patients in the ICU but also includes patients in the Med/surg or who present to the ED and operated on and then discharged Will see Pediatric patients for appendectomies Rounding on General Surgery patients/General Surgeons respond to full trauma activations (94 in 2019) Requirements Board Certified/Eligible BLS Active WA License Fellowship Preferred Support Staff 2 MAs 2 Office staff EMR Epic
