Electrician Superintendent (Industrial/Commercial)
IE Power LLC is looking for an electrical superintendent with experience in commercial and industrial sites. The superintendent is responsible for the on-site management of medium to large electrical industrial/commercial construction projects. This includes overseeing the work of subcontractors, scheduling material and labor, inspecting quality workmanship, and overseeing safety and operations. We are a local contractor with a strong focus in the electrical public and private industrial/commercial sectors based out of Freeport, PA. Most projects are within 75 miles of the shop location. The superintendent will be given a company vehicle.
Responsibilities:
· Oversee and participate in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in buildings and construction projects, making sure all work is in compliance with national and local electrical codes.
· Communicate and coordinate with project managers, architects, and other construction professionals to develop and execute project plans and timelines.
· Manage electricians and electrical contractors, assigning tasks and monitoring performance to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
· Inspect electrical equipment and systems to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
· Prepare and maintain detailed records and reports of electrical operations, including project progress, resource allocation, and compliance documentation.
· Create and adhere to budgets for electrical projects, including estimating costs for labor, materials, and equipment, and controlling project expenditures.
· Identify and carry out energy-saving strategies and recommend the upgrade of electrical systems to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
· Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers for electrical materials and services, ensuring the procurement of high-quality products at cost-effective prices.
Requirements:
· Proven work experience as an Electrical Superintendent or similar role
· Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, safety measures, and equipment
· Experience managing and coordinating teams
· Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams
· Strong leadership and project management skills
· Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
· Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred
· Certification or license in electrical work required
· Must possess a journeyman’s license
· Masters license a plus

Pay: $35.00 - $41.00 per hour
