Staff Competitive Intelligence Analyst

For our client, we are seeking a Staff Competitive Intelligence Analyst to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This role will drive marketing initiatives focused on growth, customer acquisition, brand performance, and measurable demand creation. You will collaborate with analytics, product, creative, and commercial teams to turn market insights into scalable campaigns, testing strategies, and performance improvements. The position offers the opportunity to directly influence customer engagement, conversion performance, and revenue growth within a technology-driven environment.Location: San Francisco, CA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship availableCompensation: $220,000 – $270,000 annuallyResponsibilities Own the competitive radar for priority competitors including taxonomy and update cadence Produce competitive analyses and opportunity assessments linked to product domains Translate CompIntel insights into actionable roadmap and differentiation strategies Maintain a central repository of competitor profiles and decision-ready briefs Convert findings into GTM-ready materials for field enablement and strategy Synthesize signals from various internal and external sources to inform analysis Collaborate with Product Management and Technical Advocacy on competitive strategies Present clear recommendations to product leadership and stakeholder forumsQualifications 8+ years in competitive intelligence, technical product strategy, product management, or related fields Strong technical fluency in observability, cloud infrastructure, security, or enterprise SaaS Ability to read and understand technical documents and product specifications Skill in distinguishing credible technical claims from marketing fluff Proficient in synthesizing diverse evidence into concise recommendations Excellent executive writing skills for creating structured briefs and memos Comfortable influencing stakeholders at all levels without direct authority Ability to navigate and establish processes in ambiguous environmentsBenefits Comprehensive healthcare and dental plans Parental planning and mental health benefits 401(k) plan with employer match Generous paid time off policies Fitness reimbursement programs Discounted employee stock purchase planOur client is an equal opportunity employer.
