Lighting Project Manager

The Lighting Project Manager will support the planning, oversight, and completion of lighting projects. This role will work closely with internal departments, project managers, and technical teams, as well as on-site crews to ensure lighting deliverables are executed on time and to specification. The role will be responsible for overseeing all phases of lighting projects, from initial planning through final completion.This is a full-time, exempt position available in our Las Vegas, NV or Nashville, TN locations.Key Responsibilities:Direct all aspects of lighting projects assignedAssess lighting needs for client base and regionOperate, install, adjust, test, and upgrade lighting equipment and applicationsWork closely with the Fuse-TG Production Staff in a pre-show sales assistance and technical production planning capacity.Assist in preliminary job building by consulting sales agents and clients on best options for desired technical outcome.Work closely with the Assets and Logistics teams to ensure availability and timely deliveriesLearn our rental software system so you can enter and update orders and view inventoryEnsure all deadlines are met throughout the project, up to and including billing/invoicingSome general warehouse work with Lighting operations duties as assignedAssist with preparing, organizing and facilitating show prepsLead and coordinate activities of a lighting project team and onsite contractorsSupervise and train workers in use of equipment and applicationsIdentify trends and recommend system improvementsWork requires domestic or international travel to Fuse locations or unanticipated client locationsOther duties as needed or assignedSkills and Qualification Requirements:2 years of work experience in live production managementAt least 2 years of related show experienceMulti-tasking, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills are a mustLocation:This position can be filled in either our Las Vegas, NV or Nashville, TN locations. In-person work is required unless scheduled for travel to an offsite event. This is not a remote role.Physical Requirements:Must be able to lift and move lighting equipment up to 50 lbs.Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach as part of daily equipment inspections.Must be able to climb ladders or work at height occasionally for fixture evaluations.Must be able to work for extended periods at a computer and view one or more screens.Must be able to use hands and fingers to handle tools, testing devices, and small components.Must have adequate vision to identify defects, color variations, and technical issues.Must be able to work in warehouses, shops, or stage environments with varying noise and lighting conditions.Must be able to travel and work extended or flexible hours as projects require.EEO: Fuse Technical Group is an equal opportunity employer and seeks the best candidate for open positions.
