This role is responsible for managing day-to-day operations defined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and ensuring effective execution of projects with national scope. The TAP Operations Lead coordinates a geographically dispersed workforce while maintaining compliance with VA standards, schedules, and performance requirements.This announcement is associated with GKG's Future Opportunities. Expressing interest in GKG's Future Opportunities offers you the ability to share your capabilities and career interests with GKG; aligning your next step with your career goals!ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee TAP operational activities in accordance with PWS requirementsLead and coordinate contractor teams supporting projects of national scope within the Federal Government or Department of Defense (DoD)Direct the day-to-day operations of a geographically dispersed workforce to ensure consistent service deliveryDevelop, issue, and manage operational directives, schedules, and tasking to support effective project executionMonitor project performance, risks, and deliverables, ensuring timelines and quality standards are metServe as an operational point of contact for VA stakeholders and provide regular status updates and reportingEnsure contractor personnel maintain required technical competency, professional conduct, and compliance with VA policiesSupport continuity of operations and implement corrective actions as needed to meet performance objectivesOther duties as assignedQualifications Bachelor's degreeMinimum of six (6) years of relevant experience managing operations as defined in the PWSDemonstrated expertise leading teams and managing national-level projects within the Federal Government or Department of Defense (DoD)Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent industry-recognized project management certification (must be maintained throughout the duration of the contract)Proven experience managing the daily operations of a geographically dispersed workforceExperience issuing operational directives and schedules to ensure effective project managementStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in office automation tools and project management softwareAll contractor personnel must meet VA Personal Security requirementsDesired Qualifications Prior experience supporting TAP, VA, DoD, or other federal workforce transition programsExperience managing multi-site or remote teams across multiple time zonesFamiliarity with federal reporting, performance metrics, and compliance standards
