TV/Film Research Associate

We are a national entertainment research company that recruits and surveys the public about current and upcoming movies, television shows, sports events, and music. Location: Century 16 Eastport Theater (4040 SE 82nd Ave, Portland OR 97266) Role Overview: As a Film Research Associate, you will work with a small staff to engage with theater patrons and gather their opinions on newly released or upcoming films. We need confident and outgoing individuals with open availability on weekends and some weekdays. A strong knowledge of pop culture and a great sense of humor are definite advantages! Key Responsibilities: Approach and interact with moviegoers to secure their feedback on films. Work primarily Thursday through Sunday, with a focus on weekend availability. Maintain a polished appearance and professional demeanor. Stay motivated and engaged throughout your shift. Understand and meet target numbers for surveys. Requirements: Availability on Fridays and Saturdays is mandatory. Reliable transportation to and from work. Comfort with initiating conversations with strangers. Ability to maintain motivation and energy during shifts. Professional speech and appearance. Ability to understand and achieve numeric goals. Familiarity with basic computer functions and proficient typing skills. Punctuality and strong attention to detail.
