Echodyne offers its radars to companies working in Automotive, Transportation, Critical Infrastructure Protection, Border Security, Smart Cities, Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS), and Airspace Management including Urban Air Mobility (UTM).Echodyne is seeking a Principal Systems Integration and Test Engineer to serve as the technical leader for system-level integration, test, and verification of advanced radar products. This role is ideal for a software-minded systems engineer who thrives at the intersection of embedded software, hardware, and real-world system performance.You will own the end-to-end system verification strategy, lead complex integration efforts, and be the technical authority ensuring radar systems meet performance, reliability, and customer requirements across development, qualification, and production.RESPONSIBILITIESServe as the technical lead for system integration, test, and verification of radar products, including system bring-up, debugging, and performanceWork with internal operations and customer-facing teams on rapid issue resolutionDefine and own the system-level verification strategy, requirements coverage, execution traceability, and verification reportingArchitect scalable test frameworks, automation, and tooling to enable repeatable, verification-first system testingIdentify integration risks early and drive mitigation strategiesSupport regulatory and compliance testingREQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCEStrong systems mindset with hands-on experience in:Embedded Linux systems with Digital Signal Processing and high-speed networkingScripting (e.g., Python, PERL, similar)Test automation and data analysis (e.g., MatLab)Debugging at hardware and software boundaries (e.g., GDB, Wireshark, etc.)Experience leading system-level integration across hardware and softwareExperience leveraging modern developer productivity tools (e.g., AI-assisted coding, test generation, data analysis, or debugging workflowsExperience defining verification strategies and test architectures for production systemsExemplary technical communication skills demonstrated from internal and external customer engagementsDesired Skills / Experience(Looking for one or more as a complement to the core skills) Experience with radar, RF sensing, signal processing, or advanced sensor systemsBackground in defense, aerospace, or safety-critical systemsFamiliarity with environmental, EMI/EMC, or system qualification testingExperience supporting customer acceptance or operational testingQUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience10+ years of experience in systems integration, test, and verification of complex embedded systemsEchodyne's technology is export controlled by the U.S. Government and we must evaluate an applicant's eligibility to handle export-controlled information or obtain required Government authorizations.  Therefore, we will ask you as part of the application process to identify whether you are a U.S. Citizen or green card holder, or have asylum/refugee status in the U.S. WHAT WE OFFERThe pay range for this position is $164,594.00 - $246,788 annually.
