Job SummaryCapital Goods & Strategic Skill Council (CGSSC) is seeking a dynamic and analytical Data Analyst to support data-driven decision-making, workforce intelligence, and skill development initiatives. The role involves data management, analysis, reporting, dashboard creation, and generating actionable insights to support organizational and sectoral objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesData ManagementCollect, validate, and maintain data from multiple sources, including internal systems, industry reports, surveys, and government databases.Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and timely updates of datasets and MIS records.Data Analysis & ReportingAnalyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business insights.Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.Generate periodic MIS reports and support strategic planning through data-backed recommendations.Stakeholder SupportPrepare presentations and analytical reports for management, government agencies, industry partners, and other stakeholders.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support workforce planning, skill development, and industry research initiatives.Process ImprovementRecommend improvements in data collection, reporting frameworks, and analytical methodologies.Stay updated with emerging analytics tools, technologies, and industry trends.Qualifications & SkillsEducationBachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.Technical SkillsProficiency in Advanced Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Python, or R.Strong understanding of data analysis, forecasting, and visualization techniques.Experience in database management and data querying.Core CompetenciesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and presentation abilities.High attention to detail and data accuracy.Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.Experience1–3 years of experience in Data Analytics, MIS, Business Intelligence, Research, or related functions.Experience in manufacturing, skill development, workforce analytics, or industry research will be an added advantage.Freshers with strong analytical skills and relevant academic qualifications are encouraged to apply. Location·      New Delhi Salary ·      As per Industry Norms
