Assesses visitors' needs, provides information, and explains services.Networks with other departments and student organizational representatives to help facilitate interdepartmental collaboration for events and social media campaigns.Performs research and information gathering activities; and may assist in preparing reports or summaries of information.Creates and manages posts for the social media accounts for the department; i.e., Facebook, Instagram, etc.Uses a computer and a variety of software applications (including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Sycamore Root, PowerPoint, Canva, etc.) to design departmental materials and advertising and communicate.Prepare signs, posters, mailings, etc. for print and electronic marketing.Uses photocopy machine to make copies, scan documents, and print various materials for the department.Maintains and updates bulletin boards in hallways with events and departmental information.Assists with other tasks, events, and projects as assigned.Work ScheduleTo be determined based on student's class schedule and departmental needs.Desired Start Date 08/18/2026 Open Date 04/29/2026 Close Date 05/06/2026 Required Relevant Education & Experience High School diploma or GED Required Field(s) of StudyOne semester of college-level work with a minimum 2.7 G.P.A.Maintain good disciplinary standing with the University and be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours as required by University policy.Preferred Relevant Education and Experience1 year of college-level work with a 3.0 G.P.A. or higher.Student of Language Studies, Language Studies Teaching, or ESL.Social media management and graphic design background.Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
