Senior Java Backend Engineer

Job Description:Design, develop, and maintain distributed backend services using Java and Spring Boot.Build high-performance, scalable REST APIs that serve mobile and web clients.Architect and implement large-scale distributed systems to handle high-throughput workloads.Integrate and optimize caching strategies (e.g., Redis) to reduce latency and boost performance.Implement and manage streaming data pipelines using tools like Kafka.Collaborate with DevOps, frontend, and product teams to ship features reliably.Write clean, well-tested code and perform regular code reviews.Write unit, integration, and performance tests to ensure high code quality.Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers.Ensure performance, security, scalability, and maintainability across services.Contribute to architectural decisions and help evolve best practices.Participate in daily Stand-upParticipate in production releases.L3 Production support.Requirements:7+ years of backend development experience with Java.Working knowledge on Spring Webflux, Vertx. The candidate must be willing to learn these technologies if haven't work on these because they are heavily used in our code.Deep hands-on knowledge of Spring Boot and the broader Spring ecosystem.Strong experience with REST API design and implementation.Proven expertise building distributed applications at scale.Practical experience with caching solutions like Redis or Memcached.Experience working with streaming platforms such as Apache Kafka.Proficiency with MongoDB and PostgreSQL or other modern database systems.Knowledge of system design, architecture patterns, and performance tuningTOP TECHNOLOGIES/MUST HAVES:Java (v17)SpringbootMongoDBNICE TO HAVES:1.
