Cutting Die MakerImpact Alliance | Full-Time | First ShiftImpact Alliance is seeking a detail-oriented Cutting Die Maker to join our production team. This role supports the manufacturing process by building and repairing steel rule dies used in die cutting operations. Training is provided for motivated candidates with mechanical aptitude.Key ResponsibilitiesCut, bend, and notch steel rule based on die layout specificationsInstall steel rule into die boards using proper tooling techniquesRead and interpret customer specifications, layouts, and work ordersOperate auto-bending equipment to process rule materialsApply proper rubbering requirements for diesPerform die revisions, repairs, and maintenance as neededDocument project activity on job cards and work ordersSubmit material requests to the materials department or automated rule processorInspect materials to ensure correct height and rule type based on specificationsIdentify and report non-conforming materials or products to the department supervisorTroubleshoot production or quality issues and escalate concerns when necessaryMaintain quality control standards throughout the manufacturing processAssist with training and onboarding new team membersQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED requiredEntry-level or prior experience in die making, die cutting, or manufacturing environments preferredAbility to read a tape measure to 1/32 inchStrong attention to detail and quality standardsMechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand tools and production equipmentAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand for extended periods on concrete or rubber flooringFrequent walking when moving dies between work areasAbility to lift up to 65 pounds (greater weights with assistance)Regular bending, stooping, and reaching to retrieve materials and suppliesRepetitive motion using hand tools and malletsAbility to visually inspect materials and align markings with or without reasonable accommodationAbility to differentiate colors as required for materials and processesWork EnvironmentExposure to industrial noise and dustFast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environmentAll associates contribute to quality control and production standardsWhat Makes Someone Successful in This RoleSuccessful Candidates Typically DemonstrateStrong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools or equipmentExperience working in a manufacturing, fabrication, machining, printing, or packaging environmentAbility to measure accurately and work with precisionAttention to quality and detail in a production settingA willingness to learn specialized die-making skills through trainingAbility to work independently while also supporting team production goalsEven if you don't have direct die-making experience, candidates with related manufacturing or mechanical experience are encouraged to apply.ScheduleFull-TimeOvertime may be required based on production needsWhy Join Impact Alliance?At Impact Alliance, you're not just taking a job - you're building a career.
