Data runs on STACK.The PositionAt STACK Americas, the Utility Program Manager is responsible for overseeing at a program level power meter design and installation through to client billing. The Utility Program Manager partners with internal design, construction, operations, accounting, legal, and technology teams, as well as utilities, engineering and commissioning professionals, and other internal and external stakeholders to assure consistent application of system design and delivery policies and consistent downstream client billing for power in STACK’s North American portfolio of data centers. The Utility Program Manager will also be responsible for refining, improving, and automating STACK’s policies and procedures related to client utility billing. STACK is looking for someone with passion, curiosity, and experience. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with utility metering, data center infrastructure, and program or project management. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Oversee end-to-end implementation of STACK’s utility metering design, installation, and commissioning policiesAssure that client lease commitments are aligned with utility metering design and capabilities prior to executionPartner with accounting, operations, and technology teams to assure consistent ongoing billing practicesMaintain high levels of communication and lead rigorous transitions among numerous technical teams at each stage in the processPartner with the technology team to lead continuous process improvement and automation efforts for communications, tooling, and underlying policies in support of this programSupport and serve as a subject matter expert in client discussions as necessaryLead quality control, troubleshooting and problem-solving activities related to the full utility metering and billing lifecyclePrepare and present program data, metrics, forecasts, and reports to internal and external stakeholdersCollaborate with other STACK teams on setting and implementing program goals, including Sales Engineering, EH&S, Finance and OperationsSet the agenda and lead regular project and program meetings, as requiredIn partnership with the accounting and operations teams, review utility invoices prior to distribution to clients to ensure completeness, accuracy, and lease complianceThe DetailsLocation: Denver, CO (Remote Considered)Travel: Domestic Travel Required, 10-20%Must be eligible to work in the United StatesMust pass comprehensive background screeningMust-have QualificationsDemonstrated experience reading and understanding electrical one-line diagramsAttention to detail, precision and accuracy in program and project managementStrong problem solver focused on both short and long-term solutionsProactive self-starter with demonstrated experience taking ownership of issues and driving them to a successful and timely conclusionReliability, strong organizational skills and tenacious follow-through are essentialExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing requirementsPositive, can-do attitude and team playerProfessional-level proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (also Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, OneNote)Familiarity with Open Data (ODEE) platform is preferred but not requiredExperience with NetSuite platform is preferred but not requiredCompensation Range$133,000.00 - $154,000.00This Might Be Right For You IfYou are a strong communicator, you are persuasive and clear, blending analytics with experience in decision-making.You do not get flustered easily.
