Clinician - SUD Partial Hospitalization Program ($3000 Sign on Bonus)

Job DescriptionNew River Valley Community Services is seeking an Clinician for the SUD Partial Hospitalization Program known as Dojo. The clinician works with an interdisciplinary team to assist with clients with substance use disorders in the partial hospitalization program, which meets five hours each day for four days each week. The program is interactive, utilizing mindfulness as a foundation for intervening clinically and teaching coping skills that target the causes and solutions to substance use disorders. Clinician in this position will provide group counseling, individual counseling, and psycho-educational groups every week. Additionally, the clinician will assist with arrangements for clients to attend nutrition counseling, yoga, and Acudetox.$3000 Sign on Bonus***Starting Salary: $50,400-Depending on Experience Education/Experience Required: Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or other license-eligible human services field required. Virginia Licensure as a Professional Counselor, Clinical Social Worker, or Marriage and Family Therapist preferred. At least one year of clinical experience working with individuals with serious mental illness, substance use disorders, developmental and/or intellectual disabilities, preferred. Additional compensation will be considered for any new employees who speak multiple languages.
