Join the team and create the future of customer experience together.ROLE OVERVIEWThe Manager, Software Engineering - Enterprise Platforms leads a team responsible for building and scaling shared platform capabilities across Genesys, including the Infrastructure, AI, and Enterprise Data platforms. This role focuses on delivering reusable, production-ready platform services that enable teams to build, deploy, and scale AI‐powered and data-driven applications efficiently.You will drive product vision, engineering execution, platform standardization, and operational excellence while partnering with cross‐functional teams to reduce bespoke infrastructure and accelerate delivery through governed, self‐service platform capabilities.WHAT YOU'LL DOPlatform Engineering & DeliveryLead the design and delivery of reusable platform services and components that enable application teams to build and scale AI, data, and cloud infrastructure powered solutionsEstablish and enforce engineering standards, reference architectures, and paved paths to reduce one‐off infrastructure and improve production readinessOversee platform reliability, scalability, and performance by implementing observability, testing, and automation practicesAI & Data Platform EnablementEnable teams to consume shared AI and data platform capabilities by integrating governance, security, and access patterns into platform servicesPartner with teams to deliver AI‐driven solutions by integrating AI capabilities, enabling knowledge retrieval, and building APIs and data pipelines that support scalable, standards‐aligned platform capabilitiesAccelerate the transition from proof‐of‐concepts to production‐ready services by standardizing deployment patterns and infrastructure toolingTeam Leadership & Cross‐Functional ExecutionLead and develop a team of engineers, setting clear priorities, delivery expectations, and career growth opportunitiesCollaborate with product, data, security, and infrastructure teams to align platform capabilities with business and technical needsDrive adoption of shared platform services by engaging with domain teams, gathering feedback, and continuously improving developer experienceWHAT YOU BRINGRequired QualificationsExperience leading software engineering teams delivering platform or infrastructure services in a cloud environmentApplicants must have current and ongoing authorization to work in the United States without the need for employer‐sponsored visa support now or in the future.Strong background in distributed systems, APIs, and cloud‐native architectures (e.g., AWS or similar)Experience building or supporting AI/ML or data platform capabilities in production environmentsProven ability to establish engineering standards, improve developer productivity, and scale platform adoptionExperience driving reliability practices such as observability, testing automation, and incident managementPreferred QualificationsExperience with AI platform tooling, LLM integrations, or retrieval‐based systemsFamiliarity with data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar ecosystemsExperience in SaaS environments supporting internal developer platforms or platform engineering initiativesKEY SKILLSPlatform Engineering & ArchitectureAI & Data Platform IntegrationCloud‐Native Development (AWS)Developer Experience & EnablementEngineering LeadershipBUSINESS IMPACTAccelerates delivery of AI and data‐driven applications through reusable, standardized platform capabilitiesReduces engineering overhead and infrastructure duplication by enabling shared services and paved pathsImproves reliability, security, and scalability of enterprise platforms supporting critical business systemsCompensationThis role has a market‐competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below.
