The role owns requirements integrity, data quality, stakeholder alignment, and SDLC execution, ensuring Enterprise Search enhancements are accurate, governed, testable, and audit ready. This role is expected to operate with senior judgment, independence, and accountability in a regulated credit risk environment.Required Skills:Senior level individual contributor contractorBusiness facing, delivery oriented, governance critical roleHis group is in SQL all day long, not a lot of external reporting, just data analysis and remediationThey are Agile, SCRUM oriented, ideally JIRA experienceSoftware is SQL query analyzer, they can use Aquadata, SQLassistant, etc. whatever is needed.Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server are part of the tech stackThey are stakeholder facing soliciting requirements or enhancements, this person will be fully engaged with the Product OwnerThey will be working on the whole SDLCbackground knowledge in credit risk isn't needed but he does want someone who knows financial data, and data lineage and what a loan is and how it moves from Hop A to Hop B.Mike focuses on 9 different Scrum teams, this role focuses the data for all of thoseworking on moving to the private data cloud, they are using Drimeo as the interface so they do not need specific cloud experience with Google Cloud Platform, etc.This person will be a "Senior Lead" they will need to run independently with limited directionSenior contractor acting as business lead supporting the Product Owner for Enterprise SearchOwns requirements, data analysis, testing, and stakeholder alignment end to endDeep focus on data lineage, sourcing, remediation, and auditabilityOperates independently with minimal oversightDrives backlog quality, SDLC execution, and release readinessAccountable for business clarity and data correctness, not just documentationBusiness Lead Support to Product OwnerAct as the day to day business execution lead supporting the Product Owner.Drive functional clarity, scope definition, and prioritization decisions.Translate ambiguous business needs into precise, testable requirements.Proactively identify risks, data issues, and governance gaps before delivery.Requirements & Backlog OwnershipOwn end to end requirements development for Enterprise Search enhancements.Create high quality JIRA epics, features, stories, and acceptance criteria.Ensure backlog readiness and alignment with delivery and governance expectations.Maintain traceability from business requirement through implementation and testing.Data Analysis, Lineage & RemediationPerform senior level data analysis across Enterprise Search data sources.Identify data defects, lineage gaps, sourcing issues, and transformation risks.Lead or support data remediation efforts, including root cause analysis.Maintain working knowledge of Enterprise Search data model, hierarchies, and feeds.Testing, Validation & Release ReadinessDefine and execute functional testing, regression testing, and UAT.Validate data accuracy, aggregation logic, and business interpretation.Ensure releases meet data quality, governance, and audit standards.Produce or support test evidence required for SDLC approvals.Stakeholder EngagementLead working sessions with Credit Risk, Finance, Data Office, and Technology teams.Serve as the primary business contact for Enterprise Search questions and clarifications.Communicate impacts, dependencies, and risks clearly and concisely.UX & Functional Design SupportCreate or review mockups and wireframes to support requirement clarity.Ensure UX reflects correct data semantics and business workflows.Partner with UX and engineering to avoid misinterpretation of data behavior.Governance & SDLC DisciplineEnsure all work aligns to enterprise SDLC, data governance, and risk controls.Support auditability through documentation, lineage, and evidence generation.Enforce “done means done” standards for requirements and testing.Financial services experience preferably in the commercial spaceSenior level experience as a Business Analyst and Data Analyst in complex platforms.Demonstrated ability to act as a business lead supporting a Product Owner.Proven delivery experience in regulated, audit sensitive environments.Strong SDLC and agile execution experience.Core SkillsAdvanced requirements elicitation and documentationJIRA backlog creation and managementData analysis, sourcing, lineage, and remediationFunctional testing, regression testing, and UATStakeholder facilitation and communicationAbility to operate independently with senior judgmentDomain Familiarity (Preferred)Reporting, analytics, or data discovery platformsCredit risk, finance, or enterprise data domainsHierarchies, aggregation logic, and data governance conceptsSuccess MeasuresRequirements are clear, complete, and delivered without reworkData defects are identified early and remediated effectivelyReleases meet governance and audit expectationsProduct Owner is supported with strong business leadership and executionStakeholders trust Enterprise Search outputs
