American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Cath Lab/Cardiology position in Olympia Fields, IL, requiring at least one year of cardiovascular lab or critical care experience and an active IL RN license.Job Details• Position is based in a hospital Cardiac Cath Lab within a Cardiology department,• Serves adult and geriatric patient populations undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures,• Day shift schedule, 0800-1630,• On-call rotation required every 2nd-3rd weekend, approximately 1-3 times per week,• 13-week assignment,Job Requirements• Active IL RN license required,• Current BLS (AHA or Red Cross) and ACLS (AHA or Red Cross) required,• Minimum 1 year of hands-on clinical experience in a Cardiovascular/Cath Lab performing cardiac procedures, or in a Critical Care setting,• BSN preferred,• DOB and SSN required for consideration,• Workplace Violence Prevention training (DCI/BVP) required - can be completed via Relias, Healthcare Staffing Hire, a similar platform, or the free CDC resource,Additional Information• Deliver patient care throughout all phases of cardiovascular procedures, addressing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs,• Monitor, interpret, and respond to physiologic and hemodynamic data during procedures,• Collaborate with physicians and provide continuous updates on patient status before, during, and after procedures,• Prepare and maintain procedure rooms, ensuring all equipment is properly calibrated and ready for use,• Manage case-specific supplies and inventory to support efficient Cath Lab workflow,• Maintain thorough documentation of patient condition throughout time in the Cardiovascular Lab,• Participate in performance improvement and CQI initiatives,
