Food Server

Responsibilities: - Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers - Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas - Handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system - Provide excellent customer service, addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues - Assist with bussing tables and maintaining a clean dining area - Build positive guest relations by ensuring a welcoming and friendly atmosphere - Collaborate with the restaurant team to ensure smooth operations - Utilize OpenTable or similar reservation systems to manage guest seating Skills: - Previous experience working in a kitchen or food service environment - Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally - Familiarity with Toast POS systems and cash handling procedures - Basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays Please note that this is a general job description for a Food Service Worker position.
