Material Coordinator

POSITION: MATERIAL COORDINATOR (2 positions available) LOCATION: Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City, Florida HIRE DATE: HIRE DATE: Contingency Opportunity - Award Expected Early 2026 Candidates will be able to give a 2-weeks’ notice REQUIRED: Active Security Clearance ADDITION: Additional information will be provided as the government provides SALARY: $25.61 hourly and a full benefits package About the Role The Material Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the transfer of raw materials, parts, and finished products from their source to their final destination. This role involves monitoring material requirements, tracking movements across purchasing, production, and warehouse departments, ensuring inventory levels meet production schedules, and inputting data into systems for reporting and demand estimation. Key Responsibilities Coordinate material transfers between suppliers, production, and final destinations Monitor and maintain sufficient material inventory levels to meet production schedules and inventory requirements Track movement of materials with purchasing, production, and warehouses Perform data entry into systems/databases to generate reporting and demand forecasts Utilize inventory management software and ERP systems Optimize workflow to ensure efficiency in materials management Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma required or GED equivalent Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in material coordination, materials management, inventory management, Department of Defense related business experience, OM&S Proficiency in ERP Systems, inventory control software, and material requirements planning Strong skills in data entry and keyboarding Additional Requirements Must possess an active SECRET security clearance COMPANY OVERVIEW DEL REY Systems & Technology, Inc.
