Sr. Estimator - Commercial General ContractorPosition OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Sr. Estimator to join our team at a growing commercial general contractor. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in preparing accurate and competitive estimates for our construction projects, ensuring that we meet client expectations and deliver quality work on time and within budget.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects based on blueprints, specifications, and other project documentation.Analyze project plans and specifications to identify potential challenges and opportunities for cost savings.Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather relevant information for accurate estimating.Review and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure compliance with project requirements.Assist in developing project budgets and timelines, providing financial analysis and recommendations as needed.Maintain a database of costs, materials, and labor rates to improve the accuracy of future estimates.Participate in the bid review process and provide recommendations to secure projects.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience as an estimator in the commercial construction industry.Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and processes.Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent analytical and mathematical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with clients and team members.Experience with design-build projects is a plus.BenefitsFull Medical Benefits401k matchPTO
