Bartender

Responsibilities: - Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers - Take customer orders and provide recommendations on drink selections - Maintain a clean and organized bar area - Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol - Monitor customer behavior and respond to any issues or concerns - Collect payment from customers and process transactions accurately - Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverages - Collaborate with other staff members to ensure excellent customer service -Be a leader Qualifications: - Wine knowledge - Previous team lead positions a plus - Previous experience as a bartender or in the food industry is preferred - Knowledge of basic math skills for handling payments and making change - Familiarity with different types of alcoholic beverages, brewing techniques, and cocktail recipes - Excellent communication and customer service skills - Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment - Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcohol - Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (e.g. kegs) - Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required Note: Retail math skills, banquet experience, food service experience, and catering experience are a plus.
