This position is responsible for working with other leads, supervisors, and managers in the business to achieve and maintain goals.Essential Duties of the Production Supervisor include but are not limited to:Planning, organizing and supervising the operations of assigned department(s) to meet daily production goals as set forth in production plans schedules while ensuring all standards are being met and sustained in the areas of Safety, Quality, On-Time delivery of products and productivity. Training, development and growth progression of department personnel through timely performance reviews, training, mentoring, coaching and necessary disciplinary actions.Improving manufacturing processes and performance through the implementation and sustaining of Continuous Improvement, LEAN and 5S practices.Interacting with all areas of the business to achieve and maintain business and departmental goals.Enabling, empowering, and involving direct reports to work toward continuous improvement and sustainability.Qualifications for the Production Supervisor include but are not limited to:Previous experience leading, supervising or managing in a manufacturing environmentExperience leading and working with a diverse workforceExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenExcellent attendance and work recordExperience in a LEAN Manufacturing environment a plusCompensation and Benefits:This is a salary non-exempt position and the salary range is anticipated to be from $1,923.08 to $2,307.69 biweekly.
