What You'll DoLead and develop a team of six buyersOversee daily Procure-to-Pay (P2P) activitiesManage purchasing of materials, equipment, services, and indirect goodsDevelop and execute sourcing strategiesNegotiate pricing, terms, contracts, and supplier agreementsManage supplier relationships and performancePartner with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Finance, Capital Projects, and LegalSupport procurement for both plant operations and capital projectsAnalyze procurement spend, costs, and supplier performanceIdentify cost savings and process improvement opportunitiesEnsure purchasing activities align with company policies and commercial requirementsUtilize SAP/ERP systems and procurement data to support decision-makingWhat We're Looking For5+ years of commercial purchasing, procurement, or project procurement experience3+ years of direct supervisory/team leadership experienceExperience managing buyers, purchasing specialists, or expeditorsStrong SAP and ERP/MRP experienceStrong understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P)Experience with supplier management and commercial negotiationsBackground in industrial, manufacturing, mining, refining, petrochemical, or similar environmentsStrong analytical and Excel skillsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field
