Electromechanical Design Engineer - Precision Motion Control Location: Beverly, MA Salary: $85,000-$100,000/yr Schedule: Regular business hours Position Type: Direct Hire Advantage Technical is partnering with a leading precision motion control manufacturer in Beverly, MA to place an Electromechanical Design Engineer ready to take products from concept through production. If you design with manufacturing in mind and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, this role delivers. What You'll Do (Job Duties)Design, develop, and document electromechanical systems of varied complexity from concept through production, including manufacturing and customer drawingsIntegrate industrial components including actuators, motors, gears, bearings, sensors, connectors, servo drives, and controllersPerform analysis, troubleshooting, and testing at component and system levels for products in development and productionCreate test and assembly procedures and reports to ensure customer requirements are metCollaborate with purchasing and manufacturing to source vendors, create BOMs in ERP, and maintain assembly drawingsManage and prioritize multiple engineering projects simultaneously What You Bring (Qualifications and Requirements) Electrical and/or mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment including electromechanical system integrationProficiency in SolidWorks with working knowledge of GD&T and manufacturing/inspection capabilitiesStrong understanding of power transmission products including gears, motors, encoders, and servo drivesFamiliarity with engineering documentation control practicesStrong computer skills including Microsoft Office and ERP systemsStrong written and verbal communication skills in English Preferred Qualifications: PCBA development and robotics/automated machinery experienceExperience with electrical test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, power meters)Hands-on mechanical and electrical assembly experience including soldering and crimpingProgramming skills in Python or LabVIEW and servo drive commissioning experience Benefits vary by client and are confirmed at the time of offer.
