We recently achieved recognition in Gartner's Magic Quadrant for Privileged Access Management.What are we looking for?We're looking for a world-class, execution-oriented VP of Marketing to lead and scale our global marketing function during a period of rapid growth. This role carries full ownership of marketing strategy and execution, from positioning and demand generation to brand, product marketing, and pipeline impact. The VP of Marketing will report directly to the CEO and be a key member of the executive leadership team, partnering closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering.Responsibilities:Own and lead end-to-end marketing strategy and execution, with clear accountability for pipeline and revenue impactDefine and scale Apono's brand, positioning, and narrative for technical buyers (Security, Engineering, DevOps)Build and execute a demand generation engine across inbound and outbound channels in close partnership with Sales and Business DevelopmentOwn product marketing, including messaging, launches, pricing support, competitive positioning, and enablementBuild, manage, and mentor a high-performing marketing team across functions (PMM, Demand Gen, Content, Growth)Establish marketing KPIs, dashboards, and data-driven decision-making across the funnelPartner closely with Sales leadership to align on ICP, GTM strategy, pipeline targets, and enablementServe as the voice of the market and customer, feeding insights back into Product and leadershipManage budget, agencies, and vendors while scaling efficientlyRequirements:8-12 years of B2B marketing experience, with full marketing ownership in high-growth environments4+ years experience managing and leading full stack marketing teamsStrong background in SaaS B2B with experience marketing a technical product to technical buyersDemonstrated success building and scaling marketing functions in startup or scale-up environmentsDeep experience across product marketing, demand generation, and positioningHighly execution-oriented, hands-on, and comfortable operating in ambiguityStrong analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-makingExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExperience working closely with Sales and Product leadershipBonus / Strong AdvantageExperience in cybersecurity, cloud, infrastructure, or developer platformsExperience scaling marketing in companies growing toward $20M+ ARRLocation: New York, NY (3 Times a week in the office)Why Apono?We're building the future of access management, and we want you to thrive while doing it.
