Virtual Special Education Teacher

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in special education, specifically working with ED students. The teacher should have a commitment to nurturing students' growth and development in the realm of an emotional support program. Responsibilities: - Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum and state standards - Create a positive learning environment for all students - Assess student progress on the core curriculum and their IEP goals - Utilize various teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles - Mentor and support students in their social emotional challenges by utilizing deescalating methods - Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues -Implement safety measures to protect students, staff, and propert. Qualifications: -PA Special Education Certification - Bachelor's degree in Education or related field - Experience working with students in an emotional support classroom setting - Proficiency in subjects such as Reading, Math, Science, SS - Strong ability to plan and execute effective lesson plans, based on a wide range of skill levels. - Familiarity with grouping by skill, standard, or level - Excellent communication skills - Ability to grade and complete required reports on student performance.
