About the FirmArizona Consumer Law Group is a fast-growing consumer law firm representing Arizonans in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy, debt collection defense, garnishment actions, and debt settlement. We operate on a flat-fee model, which means our incentives are aligned with efficiency, results, and client outcomes — not billable hours. The right person for this role is someone who:Has a growth mindset and treats every case, hearing, and client interaction as a chance to sharpen their craftTakes initiative without waiting to be told — if something needs to be done, you do itHolds themselves to a higher standard than anyone else could hold them toWants to be part of a firm that's growing and is excited about growing with itGenuinely cares about clients who are often going through the hardest financial moments of their livesThis is a place where hard work is recognized, results are rewarded, and you can build a real career.What You'll DoManage a busy caseload of Chapter 7, Chapter 13, and consumer debt defense matters from intake through resolutionAttend 341 meetings of creditors, court hearings, and trials (both video and in-person)Draft motions, pleadings, responses, and discoveryCommunicate with clients, opposing counsel, trustees, and courts with professionalism and clarityTake ownership of cases and outcomes, not just tasksContribute to the firm's continued growth and operational improvementRequirementsArizona State Bar license in good standingMinimum 5 years of consumer bankruptcy experienceCivil litigation experience strongly preferredHigh-level problem-solving and independent judgmentStrong written and verbal communicationComfort with legal technology and willingness to adopt new tools (we use AI and modern legal tech extensively)Ability to handle emotionally difficult client situations with empathy and composureReliable, punctual, and accountableSchedule & LocationIn-office, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM minimum.
