In this role, your home base will be at Edina Imaging Center, while providing coverage for imaging services, which includes additional sites.0.6 FTE (48 hours per two-week pay period)8 or 10 hour Day/Evening shiftsSchedule: Monday - FridayNo weekendsHours will vary between 7am and 7pm, depending on locationMileage reimbursement availableLocations in addition to home site:St Francis HospitalLakeville SpecialtyApple Valley ClinicAllina Health CT Mobile Truck (parked at ANW)Additional travel may be needed within 30 miles of home base.Performs and assists with exams and procedures in Computerized Tomography (CT) scanning under the direction of the radiologist, providing timely and quality services to patients. Follows Imaging Department policies to maintain a safe, efficient, and economical environment. Interacts with patients to welcome, explain, and respond to questions and concerns during and following the procedure. Provides care and diagnostic services to patients across multiple sites.Completes exams and procedures in compliance with physician orders and department guidelinesPerforms procedures with high degree of accuracyProvides accurate clerical functionCommunicates with leader and teamRequired Qualifications:Graduate of Accredited School of Radiologic Technology2 years experience working as a CT TechnologistPreferred Qualifications:4 years experience with two or more equipment manufacturers (Siemens, GE and Canon)Licenses/Certifications:Registered Technologist - The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) requiredARRT (CT)-CT certification with ARRT preferredBLS Tier 1 - Basic Life Support - Allina In-house BLS training required by completion of orientation or within 90 days of hire, whichever comes firstPhysical Demands:Medium Work*: Lifting weight up to 32 lbs. occasionally (*Allina Safe Patient Moving Policy), up to 25 lbs. frequentlyPay Range: Flat Rate: $54.00 per hourBenefit Summary:Allina Health believes the best way to provide safe and compassionate care for our patients is by nurturing the passion of those who care for them.
