Requirements
5+ years of system engineering experience in large corporate IT operations, both on‑prem and cloud.
Experience with a heavy Windows technology stack: Windows Server, Active Directory, IIS, Group Policy (GPO), NTFS/DFS, SCCM, PRTG, PowerShell, Wireshark, PuTTY, Dell OpenManage.
Microsoft Azure services: Azure VMs, Azure Active Directory (Entra ID), Azure Networking (VNets, NSGs, VPN/ExpressRoute), Azure Storage, Azure CLI/PowerShell.
Virtualization and storage: VMware ESXi, SAN infrastructure, Veeam Backup & Replication.
Enterprise applications: Citrix, SharePoint, Paycom, Barracuda suite, Freshservice.
Strong understanding of SCCM/MECM for OS image deployment, patch management, vulnerability remediation, compliance reporting.
Network fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, wireless, switching.
Scripting and automation skills with PowerShell.
Support current Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365/Office suite.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Strong customer‑facing skills for service and presentations.
Problem solving and documentation skills.
Relevant certifications are a plus: Network+, CompTIA Security+, VMware VCA, Cisco CCNA, Microsoft MCSA (or equivalent), AZ‑104, AZ‑900.
Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
Must be able to lift or move up to 30 lbs of equipment; stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl as needed.
Bonus Points
Exposure to Azure Site Recovery and Azure Backup.
Familiarity with SharePoint Online and hybrid integrations.
Automation skills with Python or Azure automation (Runbooks, Logic Apps).
Experience with Cisco Meraki and Azure networking concepts.
Experience supporting or integrating with EHR/EMR systems.
Duties
Daily monitoring of infrastructure (network, physical and virtual servers, appliances).
Day‑to‑day support of endpoints and infrastructure components, including core devices, file storage, print services, backup systems.
Triage and resolve Tier 3 requests; evaluate and prioritize incoming requests.
Configure, maintain, test, and document systems administration applications and knowledge base; manage tickets and change requests.
Produce routine communication: documentation, status reporting, procedural updates.
Follow and adhere to procedures and SOPs.
Review and evaluate new technology and recommend adoption for IT and corporate use.
Willing and able to travel (5‑20 %).
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
