Warehouse Associate – Wholesale Automotive Parts
We are a growing wholesale automotive parts distributor seeking a dependable and motivated Warehouse Associate to join our operations team. This position plays a key role in receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping product accurately and safely.
The ideal candidate is forklift-certified, computer-literate, physically capable of handling warehouse demands, and preferably experienced with automotive or off-road parts in a high-volume wholesale environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and warehouse equipment safely
Load and unload inbound and outbound freight
Receive shipments, verify quantities, and inspect for damage
Accurately stock and organize inventory
Pick, pack, and stage wholesale orders for shipment
Prepare pallets and freight shipments
Use warehouse software/ERP systems and barcode scanners
Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory audits
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse
Follow OSHA and company safety procedures
Communicate inventory shortages, damages, or issues to leadership
Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
Required Qualifications
Forklift certification (or ability to obtain quickly)
Comfortable using computers and inventory/shipping systems
Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly throughout the shift
Able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and work on your feet for extended periods
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Strong attention to detail
Team-oriented attitude and positive work ethic
Ability to pass pre-employment screening (background check and/or drug screen, where applicable)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with automotive parts
Prior wholesale or distribution warehouse experience
ERP or inventory management system experience
RF scanner/barcoding experience
Shipping and receiving background
Work Environment
Warehouse setting with forklifts and moving freight
Standing and walking for most of the shift
Temperature may vary by season
Physically active role requiring lifting, bending, and reaching
