You will play a key role in migrating existing .NET applications to a Java-based architecture while ensuring performance, maintainability, and scalability throughout the transition.Experience with Microsoft Azure is highly desirable.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsible fot migration of applications from .NET Core to Java Spring Boot.Analyse existing .NET applications and contribute to migration planning.Develop, enhance, and maintain Java Spring Boot applications.Support the design and implementation of scalable, high-performance solutions.Collaborate with technical teams to ensure a smooth migration with minimal disruption.Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and deployment activities.Contribute to technical documentation throughout the migration lifecycle.Required SkillsStrong commercial experience developing applications using .NET Core.Strong hands-on development experience with Java.Proven experience building applications using Spring Boot.Experience working on application migration or modernisation projects.Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software development best practices.Desirable SkillsExperience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-based application deployments.Experience working within cloud-native or microservices-based environments.Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate will have experience across both the Microsoft and Java technology stacks and be comfortable working on large-scale application migration programmes. They will have strong problem-solving skills and be able to collaborate effectively within an Agile development team.
