Project Manager
Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Project Manager to lead and oversee complex projects working on Instrument and Controls . The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, extensive experience in project management methodologies, and proficiency with industry-standard tools. This role involves managing project lifecycles from initiation to completion, ensuring objectives are met on time, within scope, and within budget. The Project Manager will also coordinate cross-functional teams, facilitate communication among stakeholders, and implement best practices in project execution to drive organizational success.
Responsibilities
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of projects utilizing methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, and SAFe.
Develop comprehensive project plans including scope, schedule, resource allocation, risk management, and budgeting.
Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and translate business needs into detailed project requirements and specifications.
Manage project scope changes through effective scope management and change control processes.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement process improvements using Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other continuous improvement techniques.
Oversee program development and coordinate project portfolios to align with organizational goals.
Utilize project management software such as Jira, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Smartsheet, or equivalent tools for scheduling and tracking progress.
Lead risk management activities to identify potential issues early and develop mitigation strategies.
Manage vendor relationships and contracts to ensure quality deliverables within budget constraints.
Facilitate meetings with stakeholders to review progress, resolve conflicts, and ensure alignment across teams.
Apply project management lifecycle principles including planning, execution, monitoring & controlling, and closing phases.
Employ data analysis skills for performance measurement using earned value management systems and other metrics.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement through techniques like Kanban, Lean Six Sigma, and Process Mapping.
Experience
-PMP Cert Strongly Preferred
-Experience managing large, complex, high impact projects
- Extensive understanding of project management processes, principles and methodologies
- Ability to build strong Client/Customer relationships
- Strong critical thinking and creativity skills along with the ability to exercise sound judgment by making informed decisions based on accurate and timely analyses
- Experience with Digital I&C projects and the engineering efforts required for these projects to be successful.
- Ability to understand needs and values of stakeholders and team members and apply that understanding to motivate behaviors and results
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1) Under limited supervision, lead multiple, diverse departments and disciplines to ensure development of highly complex scale project plans, effective resource planning, project estimates, project organization and roles and responsibilities
2) Present comprehensive project plans to project sponsors and management.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65.00 - $95.00 per hour

Experience:
Project management: 6 years (Preferred)
Instrument and Controls project: 4 years (Preferred)
Digital I&C projects and the engineering efforts required : 3 years (Preferred)
