Overview In this role you will support and enhance IT applications within a global delivery environment. You will work on maintenance and production support, implement and integrate J2EE-based solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical designs. The position focuses on ensuring reliable, scalable software in the insurance/financial services domain and contributing to ongoing improvement initiatives. You will engage with stakeholders across geographies, shaping robust technical outreach and delivery impact. ResponsibilitiesSupport and maintain J2EE applications in productionDevelop and integrate web services using WebSphere/MQ or equivalentTranslate functional and non-functional requirements into system specificationsReview design and architecture; perform root-cause analysisCollaborate with diverse stakeholders in a global delivery settingApply SDLC knowledge to maintenance and production support activitiesEngage in domain-related work within insurance/financial servicesCommunicate effectively via phone, email, or in person (travel as needed) Key requirements5+ years of experience with J2EE technologies4+ years in application maintenance and production support4+ years in web services, WebSphere Message Broker or similar (WebMethods), Java, J2EE, Struts, Spring, XML4+ years of experience across the software development life cycle including maintenance and production support4+ years translating functional/non-functional requirements to system requirements3+ years design and architecture review, root-cause analysisability to work in a diverse, multi-stakeholder environmentexperience in Insurance and Financial services domainanalytical skills and desire to work in a global delivery environmentBachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent; 4+ years of Java technology experienceUS work authorization constraints with sponsorship absenceteamwork in diverse environmentsanalytical thinkingstrong communicationJava/J2EEStrutsSpring
