We aim to build a culture of 'care' that is patient focused and performance driven.Role Summary:The Radiation Therapist helps to coordinate and administer high quality radiotherapy to patients by utilizing equipment, computers and software, and established techniques to ensure a positive patient outcomes and experience. Demonstrating radiation safety standards with patients and staff members is essential.Minimum Qualifications:Graduate of an approved School for Radiation Therapy.ARRT Registered Technologist (T)State licensed (mandatory where required)Must be in good standing with all CE and license requirements.CPR certifiedComputer literate, to include experience with the following:Record & Verify ApplicationsTreatment Delivery ApplicationsElectronic Medical RecordMS Office SuiteExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal; good organizational skills; confidentiality; excellent interpersonal skills; positive interaction in dealing with team members and patients.Minimum Physical Capabilities:In order to be able to perform normal duties as a Radiation Therapist, the worker must be able to perform all of the following physical capabilities:Lifting up to 22 lbs frequently waist to shoulder heightUnrestricted pushing and pulling waist to shoulder heightUnrestricted reachingSitting for up to 30mins at a timeUnrestricted standing and walkingUnrestricted bending and squattingAt GenesisCare, are always improving, designing new and higher standards for clinical excellence and patient satisfaction.
