Overview
In this Structural Engineer role, you support a broad range of building projects across entertainment, commercial, industrial, government, detention, and parking sectors. You will develop analytical and design skills within the Building+Places group, focusing on seismic design, retrofits, and advanced analysis methods. You’ll work under limited supervision to produce designs, calculations, drawings, and reports, collaborating with cross‑disciplinary teams on large programs such as the LA28 venue infrastructure. Key requirementsBachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering; 2 years of experience or equivalentUS Citizenship due to federal contract/security requirementsExcellent written and verbal communicationCollaborative team player with ability to work with cross‑functional teamsAbility to lead small projects and work independentlyProficiency with 3-D structural analysis software (ETABS, SAP, RISA, RAM, SAFE)Experience designing in steel, concrete, masonry, and timberASCE 41 retrofit experience for existing structures
