Machine Operator
Machine operators typically handle a range of hands-on and technical tasks throughout their shift:
Setup and Calibration: Preparing machines by installing tooling, setting process parameters, and calibrating equipment according to blueprints or work instructions.
Operation: Feeding raw materials into machines and monitoring the automated process to ensure smooth operation.
Quality Control: Conducting regular inspections using precision tools like calipers and micrometers to verify that finished parts meet exacting specifications.
Maintenance: Performing routine cleaning and minor repairs to prevent equipment failure and minimize downtime.
Documentation: Keeping accurate records of production counts, machine settings, and any maintenance performed.
